Annual Meeting Brings Together Hundreds of VoIP Communications Resellers from US & Abroad

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Nov. 1, 2007) -- Vertical Communications, (VRCC.OB)(“Vertical”), a leading provider of next-generation, IP-based phone systems and applications that help businesses better serve their customers, is hosting hundreds of Vertical resellers from around the globe at its Connections 2007 annual meeting of authorized business partners, which is taking place at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs resort in Phoenix, Arizona through November 3, 2007. This year’s conference theme, One Vertical, reflects the integration of the Company’s previously distinct channel programs into one unified program for 2008. Connections 2007 features presentations and demonstrations of Vertical’s products, including Wave IP 2500™, the Company’s next-generation IP PBX with the revolutionary Applications Inside™ architecture. 

Connections 2007 follows the release of Vertical Wave IP 2500™ earlier this month. Wave’s Applications Inside™ architecture offers a portfolio of pre-installed business communications on a powerful IP platform, making it easy for customers to deploy applications on demand, without having to purchase additional software or hardware, resulting in considerable cost savings and improved customer service.

Keynote presentations will be given by Bill Tauscher, chief executive officer, who will address how seismic changes going on in the IP telephony marketplace create opportunities for business partners; Peter Bailey, senior vice president of product management and business development, who will map these market trends to Vertical’s product roadmap; and Dick Anderson, executive vice president and general manager, who will address the profit expansion opportunity available for Vertical business partners who align themselves to take maximum advantage of both industry trends and Vertical products and support. Dozens of hard-hitting breakout sessions, led both by Vertical staff as well as many leading business partners, will cover a range of topics, from new products in development to vertical marketing opportunities to helping partners and customers realize Return on Investment through SIP connectivity.

A tradeshow-style Solutions Expo will showcase hands-on demonstrations of Wave IP 2500™ and Vertical’s family of digital, converged and IP products.
